Libris
Cousin to another of our projects mode.law, Libris offers legal document automation via its website. For this groundbreaking startup, Yule Guttenbeil (founder of mode.law & Libris) asked for a more "gothic" aesthetic for the logo and branding so we decided to focus on a custom font that would be reminecent of old Law books and just a general feel of Gothic aesthetics found in old reference books.
The result is a logo with a distinct Gothic feel, based on the aesthetic of a handful of fonts chosen as inspiration. The letter "L" is capitalised and designed to match the rest of the letters whilst hinting to the look of an open book. The dot on the letter "i" is designed to look like the icon for a mobile App. We used that same design for the design of the Libris brand icon... evidently!
Etikette also designed and developed the website for Libris as well as digital resources (publications) which you can download from their website.
